Oh really, now? How quaint.

This movie was one I waited to see all summer. I watched previews on YouTube, read up on it, and overall pretty much wet myself with anticipation. But when I actually went to watch it, I was disappointed. It straddled the line between indie and big screen, which just wasn’t cutting it for me. Plus I hated the ending. Maybe I just read too much about it and got myself over-psyched, but I give it a 3 out of 5.

1 Down, 179 to Go

Today was my first day of school, and it was by far the most odd one I’ve ever had.

Most of the time, I’m excited to go to school on the first day, but today I was just trudging around the house not wanting to eat or get dressed. 4 out of 7 of my teachers are completely off the deep end. I’m taking two college and four honors courses this year, so I have a feeling I’m going to be swamped.

At lunch, I was severely lurked by a freshman who was probably the shortest boy I’ve ever seen and it seriously creeped me out. An ex of mine pretty much dropped his mouth at me actually being able to look decent (hehe, I enjoyed how much he hated me at that moment), and it was just overall some alternate universe.

But! I will persevere! And probably fail.

Last night I went to see Funny People with Justin and his mother. I got an infection (the third in three months) at the very beginning of the movie, which means I was in searing pain and crying for two and a half hours. Went to the hospital at 1am and stayed with an IV and a morphine drip until 5am. You know what sucks? The movie wasn’t that great. Heh, my bitchyness for the day.

I’ve been doing typography/banners all day for my photography site. I’m thinking about having a friend redo my page, she’s awesome at web design.

I went to Warped Tour in West Palm yesterday! It was my first Warped Tour ever, and an amazing experience (this picture is of A Day To Remember, by the way). I can’t wait to go again next year, and the year after that, and the year after that…

Cons: my phone broke, my ankles were bleeding, my shoes are pretty much shot to hell, it was about 100 degrees for part of the day, we got poured on. Pros: Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Escape the Fate, A Day To Remember, Saosin, an awesome arepa, getting an Escape the Fate t-shirt.

You Are The One - Shiny Toy Guns

I made this on Photoshop for Justin’s music project, Static On The Line. It took me forever, about 10 hours spread over two days. But overall, I’m satisfied with how it came out.
